SPECIAL EVENTS: The Chamber will assist with grand openings, ribbon cuttings, mixers and other special events. If you have something to celebrate, the Chamber is there to help! The Chamber can arrange newspaper coverage, photo opportunities and more.

MONTHLY LUNCHEONS: The second Tuesday of each month is the Chamber luncheon. Held separately from the Chamber Board meeting, this is a purely social event. For the price of a meal, the Chamber luncheon is a great opportunity to network with other Chamber members and guests. There are featured speakers each month on selected topics of interest to the business community. Each new business is introduced and given an opportunity to tell other members about themselves. Plus, Chamber members are given a chance to make announcements and share news. These events rotate restaurants, and strive to begin promptly at noon and finish by approximately 1 p.m. Learn more or become a host.

CHAMBER CHECKS PROGRAM: As a Chamber member, you may participate in the Chamber Checks program free of charge. Chamber Checks are gift certificates available in $5 - $100 denominations, and they are frequently used as gifts and corporate rewards. Your involvement in the Chamber Checks program is easy, and can drive eager shoppers to your door.

CHAMBER NEWSLETTER: Each quarter, the Chamber mails a newsletter to all members. This features up-to-date information on the Chamber - Board activities, new members, and other Chamber news. Members may purchase advertising in this publication, or may insert a preprinted flier into it for a nominal fee.

PUBLICITY: We will display your business cards, brochures or fliers in the Chamber office during your membership. Feel free to renew and replace materials as often as you wish. Remember that the Chamber office is located in the Humboldt County Visitors Center, and has lots of traffic. This is an excellent way to alert travelers, as well as your neighbors next door, about the products you offer.

STRONG PROMOTION OF AREA: Humboldt County is a great place to live, and no one knows that better than the Chamber! The Chamber board works to promote Humboldt County as a great place to live, work and own a business. When tourists and new residents come to town, ALL business prospers, whether directly or indirectly.

BUSINESS REFERRAL SERVICE : Each month, the Chamber mails relocation and information packets to dozens of people around the United States and the world. Each day, many visitors ask for directions, information and advice about Humboldt County, and the Chamber is there to provide the answers.

MEMBERSHIP LISTS: Copies of the Chamber membership list are available here free of charge. The list may also be purchased as printed labels or on disk for $10. The address list is available to non-Chamber members as printed labels for $50.
