Welcome to Winnemucca! This is the official website of the Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce, located in Winnemucca, Nevada, the Crossroads of the West.

The Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization made up of business owners, professional people, and area residents who have formed a volunteer partnership to support and enhance the local economic and social climate of this area.

More than 200 Humboldt County businesses are members of the Chamber of Commerce, making it one of the largest Rural Chambers in Northern Nevada. Business exposure, networking opportunities and professional development are included in membership. The Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce operates the only full-service Visitor and Information Center. We are housed in the East Hall of the Convention Center, the old "Star" Casino.

The Humboldt County Chamber represents the whole of Humboldt County, including McDermitt, Orovada and Denio.

Our high desert city is full of classic charm. Our historic downtown area is interspersed with delightful boutiques, restaurants, pubs and the hometown businesses that serve our community.

Winnemucca is a great jumping-off point for many types of outdoor recreation. Nearby are fabulous hiking, hunting and biking trails, as well as miles of ATV and off-road adventure trails. In town, there are over 1,000 hotel rooms, several diverse restaurants, casino gaming, and plenty of other opportunities for fun.

Winnemucca is a short five hour drive from Sacramento, California, Boise, Idaho or Salt Lake City, Utah, making it an ideal place for travelers to stop for some Old West hospitality.
