Tobin and family came to Winnemucca in March of 1990, to work at Cyanco. He has been a manager for the last 17 years over various departments. Tobin is also an active member of the Lion’s club in Winnemucca, having served as president for two terms. He has also served on assorted community groups over the years, his motto? You can’t swim without getting wet, so you can’t live without getting involved.
Kim Jones
Kim Has lived in northern Nevada for the past 20 years, but two years ago, she, her husband Jeff and their three young children decided to make Winnemucca their permanent home. They opened their retail clothing business, Karma, this past October and joined the chamber right away. Kim has run a home-based business for the past 11 years and knows all about how much work and dedication being a small business owner takes. Kim values being a part of Winnemucca and the close-knit community.
Christopher Betz
Christopher, of Raley’s Supermarket has a positive "can-do" attitude that has served the Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce well for the past two years. His philosophy on hard work is "let’s get going" or "damn the torpedoes...full speed ahead!" Betz is one who likes to give back to the community he grew up in and is looking forward, if elected, to serving two more years on the board.
Robin Paul-Woolever
Robin has worked at Wal-Mart for the past 10 years, and has been the Community Involvement Coordinator (CIC) for the last three years. As the CIC, she works with the public. She is the grant money coordinator and event organizer, heading up the Super Wal-Mart grand-opening, Wal-Mart Health Fair and Relay for Life Team. Robin has four children and has always been active with the schools and involved in several youth organizations. She’s always been impressed with all that Winnemucca has to offer. Robin is looking forward to do what she can to help the town, businesses and community at large.
