                      Special Events

The Chamber will assist with grand openings, ribbon cuttings, mixers and other special events. If you have something to celebrate, the Chamber is there to help! The Chamber can arrange newspaper coverage, photo opportunities and more.

Grand Openings, anniversaries and other special days: There are many reasons to celebrate in the business world. From the first day of business to the 25th year, it’s time to invite the public, the press and all your business associates.

Mixers: This is another great networking opportunity, hosted by Chamber members only. Mixers are held whenever a member desires. Usually held at the host’s place of business, this is a fun and informal way to make business contacts, or to introduce the public to new faces or products at your business.

How can the Chamber help with your special event? We can provide as little or as much assistance as you need. If you’d like the Mayor and other dignitaries at your ribbon cutting, we can arrange that. At any special event, a no-host bar is provided by the Chamber of Commerce. From a barbecue to simple hors d’oeuvres, the food is up to you.

From simple to elaborate, your friends at the Chamber will do what you desire, and we can fill your business with well-wishers and potential customers at no charge to you.

Hosts wanted: If your business is interested in hosting a mixer, please contact the Chamber Office.

Monthly Luncheons: The second Tuesday of each month is the Chamber luncheon. Held separately from the Chamber Board meeting, this is a purely social event. For the price of a meal, the Chamber luncheon is a great opportunity to network with other Chamber members and guests. There are featured speakers each month on selected topics of interest to the business community. Each new business is introduced and given an opportunity to tell other members about their production. Plus, Chamber members are given a chance to make announcements and share news. These events rotate restaurants, and strive to begin promptly at noon and finish by approximately 1 p.m.

Hosts wanted: If your restaurant is interested in hosting a luncheon, please contact the Chamber Office.
